unlike many other blogging sites out there, only a few that allow the users to customize their own site's appearance,, which can be difficult for beginners in understanding CSS.. September 2006, i found this great site at http://customizedthemes.multiply.com/ a very useful site for understanding CSS.. here are some of my published there:

OK.. normally i would get upset, because i made a statement several times that i am really new in the CSS stuff, my first exposure was a bit more than 1 month.. so any questions you SHOULD ask at http://modify.multiply.com/, there are many many people there can help you with CSS problems, i ask them alot too!!.. however, i was having a similar problem -only yesterday- i found the answer at http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp.. more specifically at one of its pages at http://www.w3schools.com/css/pr_background-position.asp.. after the background-image: url(pic file); command.. add a line background-position: top center the example: body { background-image: url(stars.gif);background-position: top center; } |

وشكرا i made it clear.. this is not a request page.. at the moment.. i am writing this reply from the hospital's computer because i am in 36 hours on call at orthopedics surgery.. and the fact that i was awake for the past 24 hours in the operation theater saving people live doesn't help me much in accepting your request.. however.. i did not leave anyone in the dry.. i made some instructions and tutorials to help in making your own theme at http://iium2000.multiply.com/links/item/22please try to make some real effort in making your own theme.. you will find that no one is more helpful than i am in this matter.. peace >:-/ |

GIF or graphics interchange format file has the ability to store several pictures in one file and display them one by one in a timed manner, producing the animated/moving effect..  there are several softwares produces animated gif.. i am using the old Microsoft Gif animator ( click here).. it is FREE to download and use.. and i used it since 1997.. for more professional result there is Ulead GIF animator that have better file-size management and optimizer at ( click here).. i used its shareware version and it was really cool.. but i am not willing to pay 30$US for it.. peace >:-p |
